The 12th Annual Run for All Children
One of the most inspiring annual events in St. Petersburg, the Run for All Children returns for its 12th year — bringing families, neighbors, and fitness lovers together to support Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.
This certified, chip-timed 5K and 1-mile run, along with a kids’ dash, starts right in front of the hospital and winds through the scenic downtown St. Petersburg waterfront. Runners and walkers alike will enjoy a beautiful course with waterfront views before returning for a lively Finish Line Fest.
The event was founded in 2014 by Brian Powers, whose personal experience with the hospital’s compassionate NICU staff inspired him to give back. Each year, this community race helps raise funds for the hospital’s greatest areas of need, making a lasting difference for local children and their families.
All proceeds benefit Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.
Saturday Morning Market at Al Lang Stadium
After the run, head over to the Saturday Morning Market at Al Lang Stadium (230 1st St. S, St. Petersburg) — open every Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM, rain or shine. This weekly tradition is a must-visit for anyone living in or visiting downtown St. Pete.
With free admission, the market features over 125 vendors offering fresh local produce, artisanal foods, handmade crafts, flowers, and live music. It’s the perfect place to grab a bite, shop local, and connect with the St. Petersburg community.
